ANS X9.100-140-2004 was finalized on October 1, 2004 and is available to be purchased through www.x9.org. As the results of numerous requests for samples of Substitute Checks (IRDs), a compilation of examples that conform to the standard are now available to aid your implementation of Check 21. Caution, when working with Word files, any modification to the samples may alter the dimensions within the IRD sample. Caution should be used when attempting to manipulate the Word versions as these images were constructed with multiple text boxes and utilizes specialized fonts that are not generally available; under certain conditions the new word picture may inherit alternate default fonts and styles.
