Go to the Test Taker home page or click “For Test Takers” at the top of the Pearson Vue homepage: https://home.pearsonvue.com/
Under “Start here: type in ECCHO or choose ECCHO from the A – Z listing.
Click on the program name (ECCHO) to be taken to the NCP program’s landing page
How do I create a Pearson Vue account?
Go to the ECCHO / NCP program landing page (see #1).
Click “Create an Account.” and follow the step-by-step instructions. You will be asked to provide basic contact information. A valid email address is required.
Enter your Candidate ID (ECCHO ID number) provided by ECCHO to create an account.
If you do not have this ID number, contact ECCHO at ncpc@eccho.org
How do I schedule, reschedule or cancel an exam online?
Go to the ECCHO / NCP program landing page (see #1).
Click “Sign In.” Enter your username and password your created (see #2).
You will see a “Home” page similar to the one below.
The NCP program is a Pre-Approved Exam
To schedule:
Click on NCP: National Check Professional (NCP) Certification Examination
The following screen is displayed:
View the Testing Policies
Click on the box indicated to Schedule this Exam
Select a Test Center
Address used when you setup your account should be displayed.
If not, enter your zip code and the nearest locations will be listed.
Follow the onscreen instructions to choose your test center location.
You may select up to three locations at a time to compare and switch between during the next step to find a desired exam date and time.
Choose a date from the calendar displayed and an appointment time from the availabilities listed.
Submit the request for the appointment date and time chosen.
A confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation with all appointment and test center details will be sent to the email used to setup your Pearson Vue account.
To reschedule an exam
Choose the NCP exam listed on your home page.
Follow the scheduling steps to reschedule. Availability is based on remaining appointments at the test center chosen.
If you are successful in updating your appointment, you will receive an email confirming any changes.
To cancel an exam
Depending on timing, there may be a fee for cancelling an exam.
Contact ECCHO at ncpc@eccho.org to cancel and determine if a fee is required to cancel your exam.
